G’Day Hilton, Windows 7 does not have an email client as such, you have to install one. Probably the easiest for you to install and configure would be Mozilla Thunderbird which you can getHERE. Have a look around the web, there are heaps of guides on installing, which is easy, and setting it up

BTW, your isp should have a guide to help you configure it, most do..

sorry, I could have sworn I thanked you for the help…old age you know
Went to Chrome/FF and everything is fine as e-mail goes..
Before I did the browser change I was constantly getting the pop up. “webpage not responding/IE looking for solution or was closing down”
Now I am getting them a lot less but just the webpage not responding…I click on the popup and it recovers ok…it seems strange to me…it started about a month ago…about the time my computer started to seem to slow down..i have CC cleaner and PC Matic and keep the unit clean…
          Ant ideas..
          thanks, hefs

Malwarebytes has recently flagged PC Matic as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP). Read here for more information.

Alot of the cleaners and tools do more damage that good.

What was the previous browser that you were using a reset refresh may have correcter this.

Reset Internet Explorer to default settings
Here is a guide for this written by @gus

Also don’t know if you use an ad blocker but AD Block would be a good tool to use on your browsers.. So shall we mark this a solved ?

                    Marking as Solved for you.

Should you need any assistance with getting the browser set up and configured properly feel free to ask or if there is anything else we can help with.

Keep CCleaner and get rid of PC Matic…
