that worked. Thank you.
Best way to go about reinstalling Windows after whole system upgrade, without losing programs and files?

have you guys heard of or tried the windows sysprep tool? I actually asked copliot a few days ago about throwing my current drive into a totally new system and it recommended using sysprep. Supposedly it will remove all hardware drivers and settings from the current Windows OS to get it ready to move to a new system. And supposedly thatβs the only thing I would have to run although it said for some third party apps it might need me to reinstall them, and i would have to reactivate Windows on the new machine.Comment

ah, okay. Iβll stick with what i was originally going to do. Hopefully my CPU gets delivered tomorrow and Iβll be ordering the RAM tomorrow. The motherboard got delivered yesterday and as far as i can tell appears to be in brand new condition, I even checked the pins on the socket. I was a bit worried since I bought the board used-like new condition on Amazon. The CPU was supposed to get delivered Friday but got delayed, then it was supposed to get delivered yesterday and got delayed so now itβs looking like maybe tomorrow. Hopefully Iβll have everything by Tuesday and I can build it.Comment
