Slow PC

Hi,

I dont really know how to explain it, but -

My pc is quite slow and it really bugs me. I feel as if the specs in my computer are not bad and it should not be running this way. My computer, aswell as everyone elses computers, runs beautifully after wiping, but it does not take long for it to start taking an extremely long time until doing anything. I will say a week after wiping it - it becomes extremely slow again. I used to wipe my computer once every couple of months, but obviously that becomes very tedious espesially when my download speed is not too great. My friends who have similar or sadly better pcs to not have this issue, people are typically waiting for me to load into games or onto games, which i find silly with my PC. Its not a NASA computer at all and i know the parts are on the older side now but i feel as if its still a good pc. When i say slow, it takes 10 minutes to be able to even open anything after starting. It takes me like 20-25 minutes to get into a game. When I start a game, which is typically Valorant, the first start of a match is also very choppy. I sit on 144 FPS capped and it randomly drops to 0 every now and then. After around 5-10 minutes it smoothes out and i have no issues for the rest of my playing session on the day.

I have 478 GB free off of my 1TB storage. I do not own an SSD.
I do not have any viruses or anything like it on my computer.
I have always tried programs like CCleaner to try free up unwanted and needed things on my computer.
I do not have loads of un-needed apps open. I have discord, spotify, Game, medal (clipping softare) open. Thats all.

Yes the Sfc cmd is run twice.

Hi guys, just got back to my computer for the first time since the original post. I’m doing everything now and i will paste it all in here together when done.

Just a question, the things Malnutrition asked me to do, im sure its safe other wise it wouldnt of been said. But it seems like its going to collect all of my details and IP. Im by far a computer wizard but am I definitely okay to paste the outcome of the tool here?

Powershell commands outcomes:

Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

Now when i run any commands it doesnt run anything at all, for example when i paste DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup All it says is:

My drivers are also currently out of date, which normally makes me computer a whole lot slower. I will be updating that.

It’s perfectly safe. He is our resident security expert.
The IP number obtained is the internal network IP behind the router probably 192.168.1.xx
Millions of other users have the same IP. It can only be reached from within the network and is invisible to the outside of the network (world).

Commands still dont work in PowerShell.

Are you running PowerShell as Administrator?

Now when i run any commands it doesnt run anything at all, for example when i paste DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup All it says is:

Then SFC /SCANNOW again?

Try them in an elevated command.

Hit Start, type cmd, then CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER

An elevated command windows should open. Run the commands in there.

I done everything you just said. I left he DNS server out because its all just too complicated for me and it doesnt seem too needed. Thank you for all this help.

All of these programmes ive installed now that im done with them shall i uninstall them? If so, i cant find a few of them in the uninstall apps page in settings.

If theres anymore help that can be given ill be more than happy to do it. Thanks guys.
