Pixel 7 not recognized by W11-Can't transfer files

When I connect my Pixel 7 to my W11 laptop, it should provide a pop up asking me how I want to access the phone so that I can transfer files. But no pop up happens, even when I change USB connection on the phone to File Transfer . If I connect it to my wife’s W11 laptop, I get immediate access to the phone. I’ve been able to access the phone with prior connections so this is a new issue for me. The Pixel is listed in W11 under Settings/Bluetooth & Devices/Devices but not under Device Manager.

I’m running W11 23H2 Build 22631.3374. Pixel is running Android 14.

Any help diagnosing this issue is appreciated.

When you plug the Android into your laptop, does the phone display the Charging this device via USB message?
And on the wife’s PC, does the message show?
