1. I have several malware protection on my PC.
2. Each time I get onto the internet an Adblock websites appears wanting me to pay $$
3. I followed several Google searches and did what was recommended.
4. Now, instead of an Adblock website popping up, another one pops up.
5. I reset my PC to factory condition with a fresh download of Windows.
6. However, I’m having the same difficulty.

What should I do?

What should I do?

If this message is via Edge or another browser then yes, it is suspicious, you should backup your favourites then close Edge/browser, either by clicking on the X, by ctrl, alt del & then open task manager & find Edge/other browser entry & click on this & choose end task.
Then open Edge/other browser & it will offer to start afresh, you can then clean the browser’s cache, cookies & history.
If this isn’t enough you can reset Edge by Right-click on the Start button in the lower-left corner and select “Apps and Features “.
Scroll through the list until you find “Microsoft Edge”, click it, and then click on the “Advanced options” link.
Next, click on the “Reset” button.
For other browsers then they also may have a reset feature, if not then you can uninstall & reinstall the browser.
Browsers have a sync option which may have synced the popup. I would also recommend using a browser extension like Malwarebytes to block these type of popups.

You have most likely left yourself wide open to malware attack with that lot o_O

Windows Defender and Firewall are all that legitimate users need.

Having more than one AV or Firewall installed on your computer is bad, it will slow down the computer, cause internet connection problems and leave you with no AV protection at all if they cancel each other out as they fight for resources.

Windows 8, 8.1, 10 and 11 come with an improved Windows Defender, it offers the same real-time anti-virus/anti-malware protection as Microsoft Security Essentials. Windows Defender also shares the same malware signature definitions as Microsoft Security Essentials, and Forefront Endpoint Protection. Technically, Microsoft Security Essentials has not been renamed Windows Defender, or combined with it in Windows 8, 8.1, 10 and 11.

If any AV product that you have is a paid for version you should always make sure that you have a copy of the product key kept somewhere safe just in case you ever wish to reinstall it.
