DISM and SFC can't fix corrupt files

Hello, the problem started with me switching out my old ram and after I did that my PC started running extremely slowly and my audio kept skipping and glitching, tried to run SFC and it said I have corrupt files that it couldnt fix, tried running DISM and this is the current state of affairs

    c:>DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:WIM:c:\install.wim:1 /LimitAccess

Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool
    Version: 10.0.22621.1

    Image Version: 10.0.22621.1702

    [===========================53.3% ]
    Error: 3

The system cannot find the path specified.

The DISM log file can be found at C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log

Tried again but this time just using restorehealth

    c:>DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool
    Version: 10.0.22621.1

    Image Version: 10.0.22621.1702

    [===========================53.3% ]
    Error: 3

The system cannot find the path specified.

I’m incredibly lost, I’d like to fix the issue without having to fac reset my PC again since it’s such a pain to get all my games reinstalled and such. Please help

Please download MiniToolBox and save it to your desktop.

Run the program by right clicking on it and selecting Run as administrator.
When the program opens select the following boxes:

    Flush DNS
    Report IE Proxy Settings
    Reset IE Proxy Settings
    Report FF Proxy Settings
    Reset FF Proxy Settings
    List content of Hosts
    List IP Configuration
    List Winsock Entries
List last 10 Event Viewer Errors
    List Installed Programs
    List Devices (Only Problems)
List Users, Partitions and Memory size

Please post the log in your next reply

    Speccy Scan.

Speccy link please. Also, I’ll have to check all this when I return home from work tomorrow.

While waiting for @Malnutrition to respond here are some things you can check.

Make and Model of the original RAM

Make and Model of the new RAM

What happens when you put the old RAM back in how does the system run?

You could have jarred a cable loose and needs to be reseated?

Reset the cards if there are any.

I would uninstall these two programs immediately! They are known to cause issues, these types of programs cause more harm than good and may possibly be the source of your issues. Please remove these programs with GeekUninstaller.

              Advanced SystemCare (HKLM-x32...\Advanced SystemCare_is1) (Version: 16.6.0 - IObit)
              Driver Booster 11 (HKLM-x32...\Driver Booster_is1) (Version: 11.0.0 - IObit)

Can you create a new admin user and test to see if the same issues are present in the new account please. Of Course after removing the snake oil programs.

Sorry for the long response been super busy with work, I have removed the programs and will try to create a new admin user tomorrow, as for the putting in the old ram the issue still persists, All the cables feel good and if by reset the card you meant reinstall the graphics card drivers I did that already.

                Old ram: G.Skill Ripjaws DDR4-3200 2x16gn CL16-18-18-38 F4-3200C16D-32GVK

                New ram: T-Force DarkZ alpha DDR4-3600 (i have it set to 3200) 2x16gb CL18-22-22-42 TDZAD432G3600HC18JDC01

You can also consider an in-place repair which will fix any Windows corruption while keeps files & programs.
Download the Windows 11.iso, mount this & run setup, ensure keep apps & files is automatically selected & continue with installation. This will upgrade you to 23H2.

Stay away from driver update programs and system optimization tools…I suggest:

                        Ublock Origin
                        O&O Shutup Ten
                        O&O App Buster
