you are right, it’ll be some 3rd party software that you will need.
Google, and reading reviews, will be your friend on that front. never used anything myself for that function.

be warned, if the software ever goes pear shaped, prepare to have no access to your data.
and if this data gets backed up, and you need to access it 5 years down the track, and that software vendor no longer exists, how to you recover your files?
