Can't boot after changing drive from MBR to GPT

A while back ago, I wanted to change my drive from MBR to GPT so I could enable SecurityBoot. I looked for solutions and found that I can use Paragon Partition Manager Community’s Edition to convert my drive from MBR to GPT, only problem was that the same drive had Windows installed on it and there was a chance of not being able to boot after it’s converted. I didn’t back up or make a recovery drive because of the lack of space. After I converted, my pc restarted and it blue screened. And now I can’t boot into windows and it gives me this error. Could this be a sign of corrupted windows or bootloader? I hope to find a solution without losing any files.

Let’s hope you have not lost all your data.
When converting the default is all data is deleted.
Yes there are ways of doing it without data lost.
With a bit of luck you have just had a snafu and your data is safe.

The first step you should do is get an external drive and usb stick or 2 usb sticks and recover your data.
1 x usb stick for a bootable linux distro the other to store your data on or an external drive to store your data.

Do you have any data you need to get off this computer? If yes then make a ubuntu bootable usb or dvd
Create a bootable USB stick with Rufus on Windows | Ubuntu NO install needed

Or here is a Youtube on how to make the usb

Copy your data to an external drive or another computer/nas.

Insert the usb or cd/dvd and boot your system. You may have to change bios settings to boot from the usb or cd/dvd(every computer is different) We can help with this.

If you are copying to another usb drive plug it in before booting.

When the computer boots choose TRY UBUNTU and let the system boot.

When booted look on the left-hand side of the screen and click on Files icon

Then click on Other Locations

Click on your drive for example Win 7

Click on Users Icon

Click on your name listed under users

You should now see your data e.g Documents Pictures etc.

Copy your data to an external drive or another computer/nas.

When finished Click on the shutdown icon in the top right-hand corner Click on Power Off

I tried to boot in by using a bootable ubuntu usb, I make it to the GNU GRUB and I’m given 4 options: Try or Install Ubuntu; Ubuntu (safe graphics); OEM install (for manufacturers); Test memory. I select the first one which is try ubuntu but it doesn’t seem to work. I tried the second one and it gave me the same error.

I did everything in the video you sent. What could the issue be here?

When googling this error, most articles I found indicate that either your Live USB creation process went wrong, or your USB drive is unreliable. Try another drive.

Mind waiting? I’m currently on vacation and I haven’t brought my pc with me. Once I get back, I’ll try a different usb drive.
