Sony Alpha 7 III Digital SLR Camera not working on Windows 11 ?
Hi, I have a problem with Sony Alpha 7 III DSLR Camera on Windows 11. I’ve connected my DSLR and set up the Imaging Edge app, I can see what the camera is capturing, everything seems to work, but when I try to use it via Zoom, Google Meet, Teams etc. it’s not able to find it. Even the Camera app on Windows is showing that there’s no camera connected. I’ve tried everything, reset, update drivers, Windows update and nothing works. I’m starting to loose my mind. Any help would be really appreciated.
if you haven’t already, it would be best to join one of those forums and post your issue.
it would be unlucky for you to be the only, or the first, person with this issue.
someone on those forums would be able to help you more than I.
have you tried an actual webcam on your PC, does that work?
what about connecting the Sony to another PC, maybe not running Win11, and seeing if it works there?
Seems like I’m completely dumb. I haven’t installed the Webcam part of the software so it couldn’t have worked at all. Thank you for your help and please pardon my brain.
