As I have explained

There are some third-party applications and or programs that may do this yet then they could introduce you to some other issues.Comment

Send us a screenshot of what you are seeing please.
Open an elevated command prompt:
hit start, type cmd, then CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER
An elevated command prompt should be opened.
In this prompt copy and paste this line taskkill /f /im explorer.exe then hit enter.
If needed open another elvated command prompt and in it type start explorer.exe then Enter.
Try the icon removal and let us know.Comment

you can unpin or uninstall - thatβs it.
system Apps are different from user installed programs - those ones you can do what you want by right clicking their Start Menu listing > More > Open file location, and deleting the shortcut.
you donβt want to uninstall - so your options are even more limited, to the point you have none.
you are stuck with the Start menu has it is.
there are 3rd party Start Menu software out there that βmanagesβ the Start Menu layout, I last used them with Win8 and Metro to beat it into submission but their problem was a) they are not sanctioned by MS, and b) almost every time MS did an update, the app would break and Iβd have to wait for the programmers to release a fix.Comment
