Total AV eating all space on computer - Can Files be deleted?

    Hi
I have a problem where TotalAV has created a huge amount of files on the C drive and it has taken up all available space and constantly is causing the system to crash.
I have uninstalled the program, but the files it has created are still there
They are for some reason installed in the following directory

    C:\Windows\SysWOW64\config\systemprofile\AppData\R oaming\TotalAV
As SysWOW64 is an important system file system, I am really concerned about just deleting the files.
The files all have the same naming convention and at least 1 file is created every day .

Below is an example file name.

    vdf_1676627886.zip
Can anyone advise if these files can be safely removed without corrupting the operating system in any way
Around 80% of all the space that has been taken up on the C:\ drive is taken up by these files.

I can do this when I get home for sure, but I have to ask if you don’t mind. How will this determine if these can be removed? Or is it looking to see if something else was writing the files?
But yes when I get home I will do that. It won’t be for quite a while as at work for about 10 more hours I think

Speccy give us the system’s info and we can see what might be causing the issue’s.

Should I choose save snapshot and just post that file here?

This is what you need to do.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.
