Microsoft Edge logo replacing shortcut images

[ATTACH type=“full”]10653[/ATTACH] I’m not sure why but some of my shortcuts have started appearing with he Microsoft edge logo instead and it doesn’t bother me too much I’m just curious as to why this has happened and if it is affecting the files of these games? Thanks

Hi Ive tried downloading it and it hasnt changed the icons, Ive tried the bundle and the MSI version is there a specific one I should use? Thanks

What file type are they - exe?

I use chrome as my primary web browser but I tried changing it to edge but the icons stay the same? and they are .url but some of the icons that do show also are .url

How old are the sites which the url point to? It may be they require IE rather than Edge.
Have you tried creating the shortcut to the site again using Edge?

Ive tried making microsoft edge my default browser but to no luck, and how do I create a shortcut to a site when an app is used through steam please?

And the apps have the one drive log on the bottom so im not sure if it is a clooud issue

Download Check Browsers LNK Save the program to your desktop.
Right click run as admin.
A log named Check_Browsers_LNK.log
Will appear on the desktop.

Then download Clear Lnk save to your desktop.
Drag the log created by Check Browsers LNK onto ClearLNK
Reboot your machine and check the issue.

Which app is being used via Steam?
If they have the OneDrive logo then they may be on OneDrive & not on the pc, ensure the setting to keep on the pc as well as OD is on.
