Fast File Copy tool Needed (windows 11)

A fast file copy tool is needed for large transfers to external drives and to a PC in a local network, I found tools like Goodsync and Gs Richcopy 360, the trial versions show that both speeds up file copying so much but I cannot expect everyone to purchase one of both for a similar simple task! Does anyone know of a similar free tool, which is quick, simple, and runs automatically in schedules if needed?

Please no Robocopy(I am not familiar with the command line)

I’ve never understood how they claim to speed up file copying.
the limiting factor will always be the physical speeds of the hardware.

I tried Tercopy years ago, and while the queued files to copy β€˜finished’ faster than Windows, the actually file transfer was simply queued up by Windows to complete in it’s own sweet time. so while TeraCopy report β€œhey, I’m done”, I could not disconnect the external drive until Windows stopped saying β€œhang on, transfer still in progress”.

Why not utilize a NAS system and set it to auto backup during nonuse hours?

Granted it is not free might me something to look into as an investment later down the line.

@Buce this is a fact, and also it depends on the network speed .
Teracopy similar to Goodsync and Gs Richcopy 360, is a paid tool when it comes to using full features,
What I am going to do , is to email both to have a free limited version for my needs if available
            Thank You
