How to get rid of McAfee pop-ups after unistalling McAfee

    Hello,
New Windows 11 laptop, it came with McAfee antivirus pre-installed. Uninstalled it, yet about once a week, I get the pop-up shown in the attached image.
The pop-up text is about McAfee WebAdvisor. If I remember correctly, there were two McAfee programs before I uninstalled them, but WebAdvisor was not listed among the installed programs.
There is no McAfee program currently installed.
If it makes any difference, my browser is Firefox.
Any help getting rid of it for good will be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

Web Advisor is a browser extension which when added will show if a website is Good/trusted (green tick), neutral (orange) or bad/suspicious (Red Cross). I have it installed I I’ve never used McAfee AV on the laptop.
The pop up is a reminder to install this as you’ve removed their software.
Did you run the McAfee removal tool after uninstalling it?

      Thank you for replying!
I have not run the McAfee removal tool.
I am afraid my original post is in error. I apologize for that.
Before posting, I looked at the list of installed programs and verified that no McAfee item was listed under “M” (did not look elsewhere).
I just went back and ran a search for “McAfee”. I found “WebAdvisor by McAfee” under “W”. So my statement (“There is no McAfee program currently installed”) was not true.
I have just uninstalled WebAdvisor. Will this solve my problem? Or, do I need to download the McAfee removal tool?
      Thanks again.

Edit: A WebAdvisor icon was never displayed on the browser toolbar.

        it should stop your issue.
but the removal tool is best as it will also remove any left over McAfee folders and registry entries.

          Thank you.
If the pop-up comes back, I will use that tool.
I think this can be closed now. Many thanks to both of you for your help.
