How have you set the drives in the bios IDE ?
ASRock XFast USB utility ver:3.02.28 ASRock > ION 330HT/W7HP
Double check usb setting in BIOS is enabled
No luck so far. The series of events are; I changed the boot sequence to load XP from the DVD drive to replace XP. Maybe I did something wrong as the boot order didn’t change but I lost the use of the mouse-I’ve tried other known working mice but still no luck. Following Malnourished advice I now have XP loaded. Hurrah! Only no mouse. Strangely, XP needed to go online to complete the installation, including Service Pack 2 which it did. Now it will no longer connect to my broadband via ethernet cable. I’m getting this from my Fritzbox;
[HEADING=2]Could not obtain IPv6 prefix. Reason for error: [message][/HEADING]
This is an event message from the Internet Connection area.
This message informs you that the IPv6 internet connection could not be established because it was not possible to duly assign the network prefix indicated by the IPv6 address range usable in the home network. Check the settings you made on the Internet Connection and IPv6 tabs in the InternetAccount Information menu of the FRITZ!Box user interface and try again to establish an internet connection. If the message continues to occur in subsequent attempts, contact your internet provider

Thanks, Peter, the USB was enabled and the drives are set to boot from the hard drive and the second boot would be cd/dvd. I’ve downloaded the XFast utility onto my main machine and I’m just trying to work out how to transfer it to my unconnected Asrock. Regards, Neil
