I will probably not update the CPU

Then leave the bios as is. I never update the BIOS unless no other option available

Thanks again for the help. @PeterOz I have not tried the BIOS update yet. May I ask why do you think the BIOS file will work? The dell website is where I was downloading the BIOS file. I have attached a picture of the dell optiplex computer that I have. I do not know if that will matter about the BIOS file.

That last link was to your machine from service tag - that was the only difference.
As I said if you do not intend to update the cpu do not update the bios.
Updating a bios should be only done to fix a known issue.
