How do solve "Unhandled Exception has occurred in your application error Fix"

Good day
I urgently need help in installing a nerve conduction software for my hospital computer that still runs on windows XP

Running the software after installations brings the error, "
[HEADING=2]Unhandled Exception has occurred in your application error Fix[/HEADING]

I have tried installing dotNetFramework up till 4.0, Direct X and also Visual C++ but not luck
Please i need ideas how to proceed
