After searching I have found that my motherboard is not compatible according to Windows official site:

It is not certified compatible, the last set of drivers released for it were for Windows 7:

    https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-X58A-UD…

You could probably get away with using Windows 7 drivers, but with Windows 10 constantly evolving, there is a potential components might stop working at some point.

    Then concerning drivers for updates:

A system with that processor will work with Windows 10 up to version 1703, it will not work with 1709, 1830 or 1809

There is no consequences to trying to install Windows 10, it will either install correctly, or it will not.

I have an even older Sony Vaio notebook that has DDR2 and shipped with Vista, runs Windows 10 fine and your PC being a DDR3 desktop should install and run Windows 10 with ease.

Just a fyi, Windows 10 contains most of the generic Windows 7 drivers that you will need for the initial installation.

I transferred the windows 10 set up from the USB to my desktop and after I had backed up everything, I opened it and selected the option of a clean install and after a hour plus, successfully installed Windows 10 and was also able to use my Windows 7 activation code to register it online. I would like to thank all posters and administrators for your time and help with getting it installed.
