    media creator as in Windows Media Creation Tool here; Download Windows 10

    did you download it, then run it and have it make a bootable USB stick with Win10 on it?

    what errors are you getting?

      It just keeps saying that it could not be opened and to restart my PC. Then I get another message that says it is unable to run this tool…

        so you;
        [ul]
        [li]clicked that link provided in Post #2[/li][li]chose the Download Tool Now button[/li][li]saved the MediaCreationTool22H2 executable file somewhere[/li][li]went to that saved folder and double click the file to run it[/li][li]picked the Create Installation Media option[/li][li]chose USB flash drive[/li][/ul]
        and created a bootable USB stick, then reboot the PC with the stick as the first boot option?

        or are you getting that error when running the tool to create the USB stick?

            other ways are possible, I find the USB stick the best.

            how have to got the Win10 image, on a DVD, on the hard drive?
            you have a Product Key for Win10? (may not need it as you may be eligible for the free upgrade)
            you have your personal files backed up in case the upgrade goes pear-shaped?

            any reason why you aren’t going to Win11?

                there was a small time period when Win7 users could get the Win10 upgrade via the Windows Update process, or by a special link Microsoft provided - those days are long gone.

                you will need to follow the process described in post #4. (y)

                  You have not given the error message S=so it makes it hard for us to know what is wrong.
                  It could be your date and time is wrong OR you have not enabled TLS in windows 7
