What became of the Blue Ray?

Well I just checked the power cable for the Blue ray. Guess what it was disconnected.! It was behind another cable so hard to see, o thanks for tip.
The manual pin hole method does not open the blue ray tray, The button on the tray when depressed will cause the computer to pause from running, That seems odd.

Where did you get the system from and if that cable is disconnected what else is. Do not remove the CPU and or the heat sink from it.

Does anything come up on the screen when you turn it on? Do you even have the display connected to the proper port in the system.

without knowing anything that is in the system make and models I cannot honestly state if anything is even missing. Just because there are display ports on the motherboard does not mean that they system has the capability to display off them.

At this point I would tear it apart and put it back together and or get my money back.

Did they validate to you that the complete system works?

If you can get into the BIOS try resetting that.

I saw the desktop for sale on craigslist from a private party. Since it was having some issue which was attributed to a power issue the wife of the owner gave it to me. The power pack was bad so I replaced it.
Yes when the power is on the screen appears but goes into the bios system.
They told me it does not have any memory or os.
Yes the computer was supposed to be working prior to it going for sale.

Since I need to download and run an .exe file from Windows to my usb to download Win 10 most public places will not permit it. So I have a friend who will download windows to my usb once they get a USB adaptor, Hope to get that done early next week

i installed a new hard drive in it.

Sorry I installed one new SSD and a used 1 TB drive. i did not touch memory.

Not a problem.

Since it was having some issue which was attributed to a power issue the wife of the owner gave it to me. The power pack was bad so I replaced it.

Makes me suspicious what else may be wrong with that system. Depending on what cause the power supply to go out may have cause other issues.

Hope that you one that can power the system with enough for the hardware.

Do not forget to download the drivers and install in the proper order starting with the chipsets.
