why is my win7 installation disc disabling my keyboard and mouse

in as much as i cant start the installation process

strange thing is its never done it before ? ?

it works normally with a win10 installation disc + its only

just develloped this issue

the disc works in a similar computer no prob

nothings been changed in the bios ( uefi )

What it the make and model of the motherboard?

For Windows 7 did you remember to turn off secure boot on turn on Legacy Mode?

How do you keyboard and mouse connect?

the motherboard is a H310M PRO VDH PLUS i7 9700
boot mode is legacy+uefi
there is no secure boot options

nothing’s been changed in the bios for 6 months
and the installation disc has been in use for the last 5 years
many times in this computer ( it works ok on other computers still - tested it )

this has only started to happened today ? ?
the mouse and keyboard work right upto the first form field of
the win7 installation . . . .then its all lights out goodnight vienna

What is the install media being used and how was it created?

With all of the security issues that you will have why are you attempting to install Windows 7 and not just go to Windows 10.

it is a dedicated computer used for music . . preferred o/s is xp but cant get it to install on this i7
win7 32 bit is the next best option since all the software is legacy ( very ) . . win10 (x64) will not perform
as required ( i am on the verge of trying win10x86 ). . .it is not an internet computer . . security is not an issue
i’m an trying to create a dual boot . . . i have created a 2 partition ssd and installed a version
of win7x86 on the first partition . . i am trying install to the 2nd partition but i am getting the issues raised in this thread
