I hibernated my pc and now it will not turn back on. The power button flashes as if im still in it. I’ve tried holding the power button, pressing the keyboard and mouse, unplugged it. I’ve even completely disassembling it and putting it back together. I can’t try any of the system tricks because it won’t power on. It is a well optiplex 7010
Pc wont come out of hibernation

Its brand new. The power button flashes yellow orange as if it was still in hibernation or sleep mode. The power supply works fine. This issue occurred when I powered it down into hibernation mode. First time I had done it on this pc.Comment

Well it’s just shy of the warranty so I’ll have to fix it myself. Its a Dell optiplex 7010. I’ve East to bios come unplugged everything in different combinations, regardless the only thing that happens is the orange light on the power button occasionally flashes.Comment

Did you refer to the link and page for the manual?
Unplug the power for the back of the computer.
Hold the power button for thirty to sixty seconds to completely discharge the capacitors.
Attach the power to the system.
See if the system powers.
If not what does happen?Comment

Originally posted by Sean567012No booting, no noises, just a quick flash on the power button about every 30 seconds. That the only thing it does. Its Also just a single blink, no pattern.
If this is correct then that does signify that the power supply is failing and needs to be replaced.
One last thing to try is disconnect the power supply from the mother board (both cables), then completely discharge the capacitors, reconnect them then try it one last time. If it does the flash of the orange light then it is deferentially the power supply that has given out.Comment

I tried that and still nothing but used my multimeter on the power supply and it’s reading fine. I just don’t understand how hibernating my pc could cause this problem?Comment

Also another tech suggested this.
Have they tried reseating the RAM and using other slots in case a stick has come loose or has a poor contact, are all other power and fan connections securely in place.
The PSU is clearly implicated in some way, this includes the possibility of a broken or disconnected case power button to MB header not activating the PSU and/or a bad contact interrupting the power good signal.
First test that I would suggest is the generic PSU jump start, they can follow the example video here for this, no need to even connect the chassis fan as the PSU either powering up or not is all that is needed.Comment
