System Disc

I want to make a system disc as a safety measure but when I go through the steps to do it I get - parameter incorrect (0x80070057) which prevents me writing to the disc. Can this be overcome?

When you state System Disk are you referring to the Recovery Disk or the System Repair Disk or something different?

You say a safety measure, why not make a system image as a backup, plenty of free backup software available to do this..
