    New monitor low refresh rate problem

    I just bought an AOC AG271QG that’s capable of running up to 165hz but for some reason Windows 7 won’t let me choose a setting higher than 24hz. It seems like videos are actually running at high refresh rates but for some reason Windows itself is running at 24hz. I’ve updated the drivers but I’m not sure what else to do. I’d appreciate any help on this, thanks!

      It seems like the cable was the issue. I switched from display port to HDMI and now it’s working fine.
