I’ve downloaded windows 7 ultimate 64 bit on my Dell Vostro 3450 but now I have no connection to the wifi. The ethernet icon also has a red X on it. Can someone please tell me which network driver do I install to make wifi work?
It sounds like the drivers are missing. Are you using SP1? Do you have access to a spare working computer with working internet access?
I think so, I don’t have access to a computer with internet, but before I installed windows 7 I made sure that I downloaded all the network drivers from the manufacturer’s website. So I have all the network drivers I need on USB but I don’t know which one will enable wifi.
Thanks for your help, but I’m not sure what I did but I fixed it. I installed a load of drivers, then I uninstalled them all. And somehow, I just simply got access to wifi? Computers are so confusing, but there you go. Lol. I’m writing from phone.
