My mouse wheel doesn’t work and neither do the side buttons. Also, the xbox 360 controller will not work and i have something wrong with graphics drivers (can’t play games like fortnite because of “outdated drivers” while the suggested version is the same one installed.)
I’ve tried automatic installation of the devices in device manager with errors and reinstalled graphics drivers but neither have worked.

Found out a problem:

You do have Universal Serial Bus Controllers showing in your first screen shot.
What does that look like when expanded. If there is nothing showing a problem there, the USB ports aren’t the problem.
bugger, no help there.
sometimes it’ll show a description that pinpoints the hardware, but not in this case.
I’ve had those myself before and due to lack of anything to go on, have had to just leave them as it - Unknown and uninstalled.
did you do the chipset/BIOS/INF (called different things by different manufacturers) driver update from the motherboard manufactures website?
I did but i feel like the pc is using an old version or maybe just not compatible or something. I know that i downloaded the correct drivers but they dont seem to change anything
OK. let’s do a couple of things here…
firstly. can you give us your motherboard make/model?
or better yet, a Speccy report, achievable like so;
Code:
get it from here; https://www.piriform.com/speccy/builds
in Speccy, click File > Publish Snapshot > Copy to Clipboard > Close.
now you can paste(Ctrl+V) that link into a post.
also, have you tried booting the PC with nothing but the mouse, keyboard and monitor attached - then seeing what Device Manager thinks it has.
I have used Unknown Device Identifier in the past to get information (at the moment I have no unknown devices on our computers to test this version) Download Unknown Device Identifier - MajorGeeks
