Windows Installation Error - hp notebook - 14-ac114na

I tried to install windows 7 and 10 on the hp notebook - 14-ac114na and the installation was interrupted as i formatted the disks and then cancelled the process, ever since then when i try to install a new copy of windows it says that a required CD/DVD driver is missing and then the installation won’t continue until I locate said driver. I have tried everything out there and it still isnt working, i have tried usb, cd and tried to switch usb ports nothing is working any ideas??

Did you delete the partitions and if you stopped the HDD during a format may have ruined the HDD.
Which operating system did the system originally come with seven or ten?
You may need to turn off Secure Boot and put it into legacy to get seven to install. If it came with ten the best thing to do is install that since there may not be drivers (proper ones) made for seven for that system.

Done some digging and is this a built in CD/DVD drive or one that plugs in to a USB port.

If USB try using an NON USB 3.0.

Where did the Windows 10 Disk come from?

If it is one that you created may try a slower burn speed see if that helps.

Check in the BIOS and see if the HDD is recognized there.

I have tried installation via the usb disk drive and usb boot on all 3 usbs it currently has and none have worked, ill try the slower burn speed and check the bios to see if the hdd is recognised however i believe the hdd is built in to the laptop.

              thank you for the reply,

                The specs don’t inspire confidence.
2GB of RAM - who puts so small an amount on a computer running Windows 10?
The hard drive is emmc which apparently might be soldered to the motherboard. 32GB for Windows 10 will get crowded from all the updates.
Processor: Intel Celeron N3050 is a low-end dual-core SoC for notebooks, April 2015 and clocked at 1.6 - 2.16 GHz.

Have you contacted HP to see about getting the recover disk for that system?
