    Date format changes

Hi I’m in the UK. I’m running windows 7 (32)
I have a particular program that will not even start up if the regional date setting is not set to USA format i.e. Month/Day/Year it just gives an error message saying time date error. With the date set as USA format this program works fine. The problem is, all my accounts are run using excel. Where invoices, receipts and bank statements are all sorted by date using the UK Format Day/Month/Year. Invoices I sent out on 3rd Nov 2017 (show up as 11/03/17) are now listed in March’s invoices.
is there any way around this. for example using a batch file to change the date format before the program starts and the returning it to UK date format after program finishes, or any other way around this dilemma.

What sort of program is it?

I would check first at the vendor’s site.
