    blue tooth in win7

can someone please point me in the right direction for solving the blue tooth
    /win7 problem?
    I am on a Dell OptiPlex 755 running wint pro 32bit..with Broadcom BCA20702AO adapter…
Every thing is set right in the device mgr etc.. It will add the device when pairing and it shows up in the device box..but
will not connect to the device..some times it will connect for about two sec then dis connects…I have tried all the hints from the Win fourm to no avail…it is about to drive me crazy…
    Any help will be appreciated..
    thanks,
    hefs

Heya Hilton Let me see what’s going on with your machine

Please download MiniToolBox and save it to your desktop. Run the program by right clicking on it and selecting Run as administrator. When the program opens select the following boxes:

    Flush DNS
    Report IE Proxy Settings
    Reset IE Proxy Settings
    Report FF Proxy Settings
    Reset FF Proxy Settings
    List content of Hosts
    List IP Configuration
    List Winsock Entries
List last 10 Event Viewer Errors
    List Installed Programs
    List Devices (Only Problems)
List Users, Partitions and Memory size

Please post the log in your next reply

Click on the Start button and in the search box, type Command Prompt
When you see Command Prompt on the list, right-click on it and select Run as administrator
When command prompt opens, copy and paste the following command into it, press Enter.
        [ICODE]sfc /scannow[/ICODE]
        [ul]
[li]Wait for this to finish before you continue[/li][/ul]
Copy and paste the following command, press Enter.
        [ICODE]findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log > %userprofile%\Desktop\sfc.txt[/ICODE]
That will create sfc.txt on your Desktop. Please attach sfc.txt to your next post

Same problem for me on Win 10, I could pair my Bluetooth headphone but they wouldn’t connect, this solved it for me so hopefully will also work on a Win 7 machine.
Uninstall the device from device manager and restart bluetooth service.
                        Start > services.msc
                        Right-click “Bluetooth Support Service.”
                        Choose Automatic.
Go to device manager and right-click on your computer name and click “Scan for hardware changes”
Install the bluetooth device drivers from the manufacturer’s website, if any.

Can you run the commands again for me @Hilton Heflin? I want to ensure that there’s no bad blocks remaining.

Also, run the following command too:
                              [ICODE]CHKDSK /F[/ICODE]
This will ensure any bad blocks fix themselves if possible Can you also paste the log for CHKDSK too? This site will help you get the CHKDSK logs and save them. Then you can just Upload the file here
