Hi folks I have a hp pavilion with a non functional screen. I was suing the HDMI port and a rc mouse to make it work on a smart tv. Now the HDMI port is blown. Is there any way that I can use one of the USB/A sockets to make this work.Idid have photos and music backed up on a thumb drive but needless to say i can’t find it. I would be grateful for any help.

If you have remote desktop turned you can access it from another computer and transfer files.
Or you could use a product like this.
https://www.amazon.com.au/ABLEWE-Graphics-Converter-Projector-Compatible/dp/B07TT6WZ7V/ref=sr_1_7?adgrpid=87249303575&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.7i gZkif0AxBACMeLlJ3JKavrRJXR_tQ-s0U5jrIJ0UfnvzDiH9LEqeUJNDfbytbg9jyZmbYrVkyg5KHuo4 FrWhh7PZk9LcLgSfEsUll_x8iPtmCTWuIe6rFsoUJ1l9I_SmXI rVg7TMop3_3fItfSahWBwqojrHWUuB-JqbTJ8oza-OmKFcMPg8p57HzrDacQgxl-_EtnrBa-OOHdO3sXCGFFWvPW6iwqdv5B1fJdA–xe1u_Qp_03yA5Iy_Cgjz dlgq6zqpcRi6Bf37Aq-Yl3jMQ2YE2hph4uJp5TO-6igY.y1svb9LYwG25egTcTsRXvxsYD03aLm-dG4_CoJjoSVo&dib_tag=se&hvadid=591133012733&hvdev= c&hvlocphy=9069161&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=e&hvrand=1112839 2928633064221&hvtargid=kwd-307967880450&hydadcr=13416_353421&keywords=usb%2B2 %2Bto%2Bhdmi&qid=1714510423&sr=8-7&th=1.
However, you need remote desktop so you can install the driver.
I am not saying this exact product or supplier. This is to give you an idea.Comment
