What is the make and model of the motherboard and you could go to the manufractures sire to find that information.
Usually Red/Pink is for the Mic
Greenish is for the speakers/headphone

What version of operating system?
Plus have you checked the volume setting to make sure that they are not muted or turned down?
Unless that earphone are an all in one type and you are attempting to connect them with out a splitter that looks simular to this

If no then you will need to get one. Could also be that they do not unless you have installed the drivers. Do you have a another set and or speakers that you could test with.Comment

one other thing you can try is creating a new user account and login under that and see if the issue replicates.Comment

If this is a different issue other than the audio issue that was the reason for this thread you will have to create a new thread for that issue.Comment
