VPN services redirect your external browser traffic, not what you do internally to the browser like customising your settings.

but under the hood, especially if you are a conspiracy theorist, who know what the Devs have coded into the browser. all depends on what telemetry they want to receive to ‘improve your browser experience’.

if you believe the PR, there are special purpose built browsers like Brave, Tor, or Epic that specialise in increased privacy settings.
