PC don't recognise my hard disk

    Hi,
So my problem is that my hard disk in’t recognised by PC. Yasterday it worked perfectly fine but today when i turned on my PC it’s just not recognised while booting. I tryed restarting it several times and when it recognise my hard disk it says something like “Insert CD/DVD…”. I tryed connecting other hard disk and it is working fine.
Can you help me or you need more information?
    Sorry on bad english.

    Hi,

Does the hard drive work in another computer?

Try using a USB to SATA adapter and see if that allowes the hard drive to be recognized by your system. Have you also tried different SATA ports and different SATA cables?
