    USB Device not recognized.

Hello, couple of days ago i’ve first encountered this problem. After long time use of my ps4 controller to play some games on my pc without any problems, one time after i tried plugging the controller in the USB port, as i always did, it refused to work, and “USB Device Not Recognized” message popped up. I’ve already tried uninstalling the drivers, resetting the PC, uninstalling the serial bus controllers and booting the PS4 controller using the small hole in the back of it. Nothing seems to work, im kind of hopeless right now.

    Welcome to PCHF freedo1,

First suggestion for you is to try using the PS4 controller on another computer that is also running Windows then post back with an update for us.

Strangely, after plugging the PS4 to another computer the exact same message appeared.

The PS4 controller is wired through a removable micro USB cable. Have you tried a different cable?

As the device would not work on another computer using the same micro usb cable I suspect that the original cable is faulty.

You are welcome btw and good call lkjk (y)
