A6210 Genie MFC Application - Extreme CPU Usage

I’ve seen a lot of reports of this issue on various websites, but have never really found an answer that I understand nor actually works.
I don’t know much about the specifics of computers, such as these various applications that are already on your PC. I don’t know what A6210.exe is, nor do I know what it does, but recently it has been taking up extreme CPU Usage (upwards of 40-60%) if I haven’t restarted my computer in a while. I had this problem about a year ago, but it eventually went away, and now it is back. I do not usually turn off or restart my computer, but in order to make this application not take up so much CPU usage, slowing down my computer, I must sign out and sign back in to my computer to get it to go away. This is just extremely inconvenient and annoying. Does anyone know why this is happening? What is A6210.exe? Will anything bad happen if I “End Task” the application in Task Manager?

Step 2: HijackThis.

1- Please click HERE to download HijackThis.
2- Run the program.
3- Click on the Main Menu button if not already there.
4- Select Do a system scan and save a logfile.
5- Copy paste the log here.

Security Check Scan.

Once it’s done, make sure that every item listed is checked and click on the Clean & Repair button;[/li][li]Click on the Clean & Restart Now button;[/li][li]After the restart, a log will open when logging in.[/li][li]Please attach that log in your next reply.[/li][/ul]

Hope you don’t mind me butting in here, but you asked what A6210.exe is

Whilst we will need more information as to the path (where the file is located) and file size, etc, to make a more informed decision on it, there is a good chance that this file is part of software belonging to Netgear Genie.

Your scans that Malnutrition has requested as well as helping to diagnose your issues, may also add more evidence about whether the file you have may be malicious or not?
