    Solid green screen

    I recently bought a used rx5700xt, and put it into my pc. Since then, Iโ€™ve had this problem while playing games where after anywhere from 10-30 minutes, the screen goes solid green. Just completely solid; no letters, and it basically stops the whole pc too. Iโ€™ve had it happen while on discord calls, and I canโ€™t hear anyone, nor can anyone hear me. It basically crashes altogether, but the screen goes green, and I have to restart manually. Iโ€™m happy to provide any info anyone needs to help.

    Iโ€™m using a custom build;
    rx5700xt 8Gb,
    i5-10600k,
    32Gbs corsair rgb pro ddr4 ram,
    Asus prime z490-p mb,
    and an apevia prestige 800 watt psu.

    The image is EXACTLY what the screen looks like. Itโ€™s just the first result of โ€œgreenโ€ on google.

        I canโ€™t do this now, but when I get the chance Iโ€™ll do it. Iโ€™ll post any further updates. Thanks.

            Also, how old is this used GPU?
            Iโ€™m wondering if the thermal paste may need replacing.

                I donโ€™t actually know how old it is, and unfortunately I donโ€™t have a way, that I know of, to find out.

                    No worries, either way, wouldnโ€™t hurt to replace its thermal paste regardless.

                        Yeah, it couldnโ€™t hurt. Iโ€™m going to do all this when I have more time over the weekend.
