    What now?

Hello! Itโ€™s me again, i know i solved my blue screen problem after restarting (by turning off intel(r) storage middleware in โ€˜msconfigโ€™), but iโ€™m curious, why does this always happen when i activate it (or an update activates it). And should i worry?

Also, will it be a problem in the future that i deactivated it? maybe its an important thing

Intel Rapid Storage Technology is an Intel program to help manage SSDโ€™s and the newer NVMe drives.
They can also be managed through BIOS and Windows.
Simply Intel trying to take a bite out of Microsoft.

Itโ€™s one of the programs I remove when setting up a new rig.
Never found a use for it, but maybe that could be due to not having Optane or RAID requirements, which is an area IRST helps in, but again, not solely.

      JoeeM,

You could have asked this question in your previous thread here where I`m sorry to say you did very little to next to nothing to help our helpers help you, twice you were asked to provide information to help with the troubleshooting and both times you ignored the requests, we know absolutely zero about your hardware or software so how can we possibly advise you safely, for all we know you may not even have any Intel hardware.

Regardless of the above IRST is end of life so you should forget about it.

Question answered so marking and closing thread.
