    Ethernet stuck on 1MB/s

So, the problem is in the title but to expand on it, the problem is fixed by plugging ethernet cable into a different slot on the router. However that didn’t happen today, and personally I think a part of the problem is that I can’t update my internet driver, also on properties β†’ events there is an error that something didn’t start:

    Device PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&SUBSYS_86771043&REV_15\6&2d7 80028&0&0030020A had a problem starting.

    Driver Name: oem92.inf
    Class Guid: {4d36e972-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}
    Service: rt640x64

    Problem Status: 0x0

    Not much to go on.
Desktop, laptop, make/model of ethernet adapter, make/model of modem/router?

Let’s do a full workup of your system.
No personal data is published and everything shown is safe.
    1. Download Speccy by Piriform.
In Speccy, click File > Publish Snapshot > Copy to Clipboard > Close.
Paste that link into your post. Is Speccy safe?
    2. Download GetSystemInfo by Kaspersky.
In GSI, click Start. (takes about 10mins)
It makes a ZIP file on your desktop, drag that to their GSI Parser site.
Once analysed, paste the newly created URL into your post.
    3. Download MiniToolBox by Farbar.
In MTB, tick List Installed Programs, click Go then close the program.
A file MTB.txt is created in the same folder, attach that to your post.
    4. No software interrogates the Power Supply Unit so list the make/model.
    5. Go to www.speedtest.net and screenshot your network speeds.
    6. List your network hardware; modem, router, wireless access points, switches, etc.
