    Pc won’t start up correctly

When I try and start up my pc it will turn on but all of my desktop apps aren’t there. Then when I try and open apps they don’t appear to open but I can see there open through the taskbar. My windows key won’t bring up the windows search either. I can get it to work if I keep turning my pc on and off for like along time just hoping it works. The only tell I can get when it is going to work when it shows the admin logging in screen in the start up.

Ensure you’re logged into the correct account & not a temporary one.
      Please try these cmds:
Right click on start & choose powershell/terminal with admin & type/copy & paste these cmds one at a time then click Enter:
      Code:
      SFC /SCANNOW
      DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup
      DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
      SFC /SCANNOW
Yes the Sfc cmd is run twice.

I follow your steps and I’m still having the same issue. Everything looked like it worked until I restarted my pc

Have you tested the HDD/SSD for errors?
Do you use OneDrive? If yes check to see if the desktop folders & files are there.
It is still sounding like an account corruption.

Is there any ‘account may be corrupted’ message on sign in or anywhere?
Have you signed into OneDrive online to see if the folders are there?

You could try system restore back to when it worked or failing that try last known good configuration.
These should be found under Troubleshoot>advanced options.
