Iโve been dealing with frequent freezes and visual glitches for over a year now and Iโve tried many things to try and diagnose the problem. This wasnt a problem years ago, this is a problem that has come up within the last year.
My PC freezes and requires a hard reset when I:
import videos into editing software (adobe premiere pro and davinci resolve both crash, but microsoft clipchamp doesnโt for some reason)
record/stream video (randomly)
play games (some games are better at crashing my pc than others, and it seems random)
Other issues:
recording videos sometimes becomes corrupted
importing videos sometimes becomes corrupted
Things Iโve tried over time:
upgraded ram
upgraded ssd
reinstall windows
taken pc to a repair shop (they were unable to reproduce the freeze after playing and streaming elden ring for 24 hours straight?? my guess is that they had smaller monitors so it was less intense on the pc but idk)
check for corrupted files on disks
check for overheating
uninstall and reinstall gpu drivers
I guess that its something to do with my gpu/gpu drivers but Iโm honestly out of ideas on what could be the problem. Any insight is appreciated.
