Hello. I have all of my Win10 PCβs set up to skip all login screens when woken from sleep so that I return to the desktop. Recently, one of these PCβs started showing the login screen. I went through all of the necessary steps to skip login screens again, but to no avail. It continues to show the login screen every time I wake the computer.
What gives? Any ideas?
Do you log onto this PC with a MS account, or a local account?
In Screen Saver Settings, have you unticked On resume, display logon screen?
Does you login profile account require a password?
Is this PC on a workgroup or domain?
And in Control Panel > Programs & Features > Turn Windows Features on or off > in Device Lockdown, tick Custom Logon.
Have never played with this feature, but some info on it here; Custom Logon | Microsoft Learn
