Trying to install windows 10 on a newly built computer

    Both sticks are good. The ram was the only thing I could take out and still have the pc boot.

      Cool, so now it’s just a testing game - keep adding things, going into BIOS each time to see if the component is detected.

      Once you have the keyboard, mouse, boot drive and USB stick with Windows on it all working, let the PC boot from the USB stick and try installing Windows.

        It detects everything but whenever I try to boot with the usb it just gets stuck on the splash screen. I can still go into bios with the usb in the computer but it just doesn’t want to install windows. I think the usb stick might be busted.

          Try it in another computer and see if you get the same.
          Have you set the bios to boot from usb and not ssd.

            Do any of the LED lights on the MB stay on.
            Installing Windows 10/ Windows 11
            1. Power on the computer.
            2. Insert the Windows 10/ Windows 11 installation disc/USB into your computer.
            3. Press the Restart button on the computer case.
            4. Press F11 key during the computer POST (Power-On Self Test) to get into Boot Menu.
            5. Select the Windows 10/ Windows 11 installation disc/USB from the Boot Menu.
            6. Press any key if screen shows Press any key to boot from CD or DVD… message. If not, please skip this step.
            7. Follow the instructions on the screen to install Windows 10/ Windows 11.
