Was your disk formatted as MBR or GPT, as UEFI requires GPT and will not convert from MBR for you when enabled.

Do you have a backup of your data as I fear any solution going forward is going to require steps that will stop access to your files.

What was Clover used for, is that a dual boot program?

Yes, BUT your drive was not setup for uefi boot.
You basically need to reinstall windows.
A repair MIGHT work However, I cannot be certain I have never tried doing it that way.

Instead of turning off uefi try setting bios back to defaults.

You can buy software to help do what you want.
Q: Can I change from Legacy BIOS to UEFI without reinstalling the operating system?

        A
: In most cases, changing from Legacy BIOS to UEFI requires reinstalling the operating system. But you can try AOMEI Partition Assistant Professional, which is a tool that can change Legacy to UEFI without reinstalling Windows.
