"NEW" PC--HIDDEN IN DESCRIPTION: REFURBUSHED! NO BIOS WHEN BOOT!!!

I set up just fine. Installed Finale v27. Wonโ€™t playback. Online says go into bios and disable fast start up. no, โ€œpress del for biosโ€ no "boot options F 11, no safe mood when boot.

i donโ€™t mind refurbished if working properly, because new pc, over $1000 and I paid $300.

Start a command prompt, and type :

      Shutdown /r /o

      then press enter.

The system will restart on the screen that allows you to reset Windows.

Select Advanced, then the option with UEFI.

      Press restart.

This will get you into the BIOS.

Hi and thank you. All I get is the settings for the computer when I restart (General, System Configuration, Video, etc).

Hello all helpers: I managed to get into BIOS revision. Is this the same as BIOS? By the way, I have solved the problem with my Finale v27 program. So Iโ€™d like to continue to use fast boot.

What process worked for you to get into BIOS?
And what did you do to fix Finale v27 - sharing your solution may help others. (y)

Oh, I should have thought of that!

Finale v27: Well, the sound driver needed to be enabled: MIDI / Audio, Device Setup, Audio Setupโ€“in the dialog box, check โ€œEnabledโ€ next to driver window. DirectSound is the default driver, shown in that window.

BIOS: Turn on PC, immediately press F12 and hold until BIOS appears.

P.S.: Ah, but no sooner did I post that, Finale is playing back terribly. It is behaving EXACTLY as it did on the previous PC. Support could not fix this on the previous PC. So I purchased a new PC! Finale is doing exactly the same erratic garbage again on the new PC!

Letโ€™s get your complete PC specs.
Get Speccy; Speccy - Download Builds
In Speccy, click File > Publish Snapshot (hit Yes if prompted to proceed with publish) > Copy to Clipboard > Close.
Now you can paste that link into your next post.

Speccy doesnโ€™t show the Power Supply Unit so, if a Desktop PC, list the make/model of the PSU.

                            Is Speccy safe?

Where did this PC come from?
And what of its history do you know?
Did it come as the last person had it - with their software etc, or freshly installed Windows 10, or completely blank and you loaded Win10 yourself?
