Is the app/program fully up to date? It may be an update pop up which isn’t rendering correctly.
If fully up to date have you tried uninstalling the program using Revo Uninstaller, using this to uninstall then scanning for leftovers afterwards & clean installing the most latest version from Adobe?

You can also open task manager to see what is running alongside Adobe.

I’d still be doing the uninstall, download latest version, and reinstall first. (y)

First up, try cleaning the memory sticks.
Remove each one, and with a soft bristled brush, wipe their circuitry, the contacts, and the motherboard slots.
Reseat one stick and boot the PC.
If OK, put all sticks back in and try again.

                Did you ever reinstall Adobe?

Did you have more than one stick?
If so, try another stick, one at a time, and try in different slots.
What error are you now getting?
