Download and unzip farbar service scanner to your desktop, right click and run as adminβ¦check all boxes and hit scan.
Post the log created.
Security Check Scan.

[li]Download Security Check to your desktop.[/li][li]Right click it run as administrator.[/li][li]When the program completes, the tool will automatically open a log file.[/li][li]Please Copy and paste that log here in your next post[/li][/ul]
Please download MiniToolBox and save it to your desktop.
Run the program by right clicking on it and selecting Run as administrator.
When the program opens select the following boxes:
Flush DNS
Report IE Proxy Settings
Reset IE Proxy Settings
Report FF Proxy Settings
Reset FF Proxy Settings
List content of Hosts
List IP Configuration
List Winsock Entries
List last 10 Event Viewer Errors
List Installed Programs
List Devices (Only Problems)
List Users, Partitions and Memory size

Have you tried resetting the update components?
Open cmd prompt/powershell with admin & enter:
Net Stop bits
Net Stop wuauserv
Net Stop appidsvc
Net Stop cryptsvc
Ren %Systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore DataStore.bak
Ren %Systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution\Download Download.bak
Ren %Systemroot%\System32\catroot2 catroot2.bak
Del β%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Network\Downloader\qmgr*.datβ
Net Start bits
Net Start wuauserv
Net Start appidsvc
Net Start cryptsvc
Restart the PC & try updating again.
And/or:
Search for services.msc & find Windows Update & ensure it is set to Automatic.
If problem remains:
Download the media creation tool, run this by double clicking on the file & choose to upgrade/install now. Ensure keep apps & files is automatically selected. Then continue with the in-place repair.Comment
