laptop keeps rebooting after boot up or after sleep

hello, im a Canadian that moved to the Philippines and i bought a laptop for only 5000 phpโ€ฆ no jokeโ€ฆ only 100$, buuut its a celeron 1000m but only 100$โ€ฆ but whenever i start it up or wake the laotop upโ€ฆ about 5 minutes inโ€ฆ i just see the screen go black and it restarts.. i doubt its an overheating issue, the OS is win 10 pro 64bitโ€ฆ (came preinstalled i swear)

Some questions for you, what happens if you just leave the notebook in sleep state as in does it stay asleep or does it eventually make a clicking sound and then turn off and why do you doubt that it is an overheating issue

What is the brand and exact model name or number of this computer.

We got no ticking but you have not answered what happens if you just leave the notebook in sleep mode.

How are you able to frequently monitor the CPU temperatures on a computer that turns off after five minutes.

Maybe the computer is not such a bargain after all.

No need to quote every reply and rather than double post please use the edit tab if you need to add any additional info.

You used Linux in the past, why not try booting from Linux on a USB thumbdrive, that will rule Windows 10 in or out in a matter of minutes.

You do not have to install Linux to the storage device on the computer, you boot from either a Live Linux distro on disk or a USB thumbdrive, take your pick from what is on offer here

I didnโ€™t explain this before because you told us that you used Linux and that would suggest that you know more about how to use it than I do.[/color]
