hidden deleted emails

Accidentally hit the wrong key and to my shock, found emails that I thought I deleted from 2019!!! How is this possible? They all have a line through them. I hilighted them and tried to drag them to my junk folder, my junk files, and the deleted folders, but none of them transferred to any of these.

Can anyone help me with this nightmare? Maybe this is why my internet is so slow?

What email provider are you using?

Have you gone through the trash and emptied it of deleted emails?

What key did you press to view the deleted emails?

Where are you currently looking when you see this?

Yes, it is possible just because you delete them from your system does not mean that they are deleted off the server.

Depend on how your email is set up (configured).
