Screen tearing?

Whenever I’m in steam it will randomly just do this. Only steam so far. Checked my specs for refresh rate and my screen can handle 144 hertz but my only options are 60 85 120 or 240

Hey I ended up just taking my PC apart and trying to sell parts and bought a used one off Facebook local and now I’m getting some problems like screen tearing but only on the steam application, games crashing or freezing often after a level or just at the beginning, and occasionally the blue screen of death for video scheduler internal error. I’m thinking it’s the specs aren’t compatible, I replaced their GPU for mine and still same problem.

It came with these in it and I added my gpu after the problems
