    is it possible to boot windows 10 from usb external hard drive

    Hi i want to boot windows 10 from my usb 1 tb seagate external hard drive, as i have cloned it from my desktop pc and want to work on my laptop
    with all the same programs i have upstairs, but when i boot into the bios then change the order making the usb drive first it still keeps booting into
    my hard disk inside the laptop,is this possible or am i wasting my time thank you in anticipation

    unfraternally no your pervious system had different hardware and drivers for that hardware and is incompatible with the newer system.

    You will have to install the programs on to that system.

      plus, if it were possible, we’d only ever need to purchase Windows once, whack it on a USB device, and plug that device into whatever PC we wanted to use.
      MS would never go for that!
